After earning his Masters' Degree in Sports Administration from Ohio University, he spent twenty years in professional baseball, serving as general manager and CEO of five different professional baseball franchises. His passion for leadership and communication led him to start a business consulting company in 2002, where he became a renowned speaker, delivering keynotes and workshops that focused on leadership communication. During this time, he developed his 7 Deadliest Communication Sins concept, eventually publishing it as a book that has since transformed the way business leaders communicate in the workplace.
Now pursuing his third professional dream, Skip is building a career as a fiction writer.
